Does this replace Yoast or Rank Math?
No. AI Visibility Engine works alongside your existing SEO plugin. It detects Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, and SEOPress on activation and only adds features they don't cover — AI crawler management, llms.txt, citability scoring, and AI-specific schema. Your meta titles, descriptions, and sitemaps stay exactly as they are.
What is a Citability Score?
A 0-100 score measuring how likely your page is to be cited in AI-generated answers. It analyzes 20+ weighted signals across three categories: Structure (35%), Content (40%), and Technical (25%). Think of it like Domain Authority, but for AI visibility instead of link equity.
Does the free version require an account?
No. The free version works entirely on your WordPress site with zero external dependencies. No account, no API key, no email signup. Install, activate, and you're optimizing. Pro features require a license key for the cloud-based citation tracking service.
Will this slow down my site?
No. Schema is generated server-side as lightweight JSON-LD and cached. AI crawler detection fires a single database write only when an AI bot visits. llms.txt is served from transient cache. Zero frontend JavaScript is added to your public pages.
Does it work with Elementor and WooCommerce?
Yes to both. The plugin scans the final rendered page output, so it works with any page builder. For WooCommerce, it automatically adds enhanced Product schema with pricing, availability, reviews, brand, and GTIN data.
